Freedom published an interview in 1985 with Mr. Allan Adler, veteran American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) attorney and legislative counsel for the Center for National Security Studies in Washington, D.C.. Through the years, the Center, which is sponsored in part by the ACLU, has been a major supporter of a strong Freedom of Information Act. The following is excerpted from the interview with Mr. Adler.
