CCHR International in Los Angeles, CA
The Citizens Commission on Human Rights has published a series of booklets which thoroughly document psychiatric harm, abuse, criminality and fraud in different zones of society. More than four million copies of the publications have been distributed internationally.

Focusing the Light of Truth on Psychiatric Abuse

Harm in the Name of Help

Psychiatry: Harming in the Name of Healthcare
Psychiatry: Shattering Your World with Drugs
Documenting Psychiatry: A Human Rights Abuse and Global Failure

The first of the series, Creating Racism: Psychiatry’s Betrayal, set off an international firestorm of controversy about psychiatry.

In the other publications in the series, ways in which psychiatrists have created havoc in numerous fields have been exhaustively researched and disclosed, including:

  • This publication documents how the fraud of “disorders” is being carried out for the enrichment of those who profit from psychiatric drugs — especially at the expense of children.

Prepared after years of research, these publications are available to all concerned citizens, and particularly those whose job it is to protect the general public, including leaders in government, religion, human rights organizations and news media all over the world.

To obtain copies of these booklets, contact the Florida Chapter of CCHR at (727) 442-8820.

Based in Los Angeles, with a regional office in Clearwater, the Citizens Commission on Human Rights International has, for 35 years, been the advocate for children, parents and families abused and defrauded by psychiatric industry abuses.

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) was established in 1969 by the Church of Scientology as an independent body to investigate and expose psychiatric violations of human rights and to clean up the field of mental healing.

Today CCHR is an international organization with more than 130 chapters in 31 countries. Its board of advisors, called commissioners, includes doctors and other medical specialists, artists, lawyers, educators and civil and human rights representatives who advise and assist in their professional capacity. While CCHR does not provide medical or legal advice, it works closely with and supports medical doctors and medical practice.

Augmenting CCHR’s exposure of psychiatric betrayal and harm, the Commission last year produced a new publication in 17 languages, Psychiatry: Harming in the Name of Healthcare. It was written for the many non-psychiatric physicians who are concerned for the millions of children now prescribed addictive, speed-like stimulants. Scores of doctors have since responded by requesting additional copies of the booklet for distribution to colleagues.

Last year CCHR also unveiled its newest web site, www.fightforkids.com, which has resulted in hundreds of reports from parents documenting incidents of children harmed and killed by psychiatric drugs. This prompted CCHR’s special report, The Silent Death of America’s Children, which shows that “rather than an enlightened and compassionate mental health system attending to the needs of our young, we have a dangerous and coercive system that stands impassive in the face of child deaths due to treatment,” according to Mary DeMoss, executive director of CCHR’s Florida chapter.

In October 2003, CCHR published its most embracive study to date: The Real Crisis in Mental Health. Each article, authored by a medical professional, challenges and debunks psychiatric myths that not only destroy lives but cost taxpayers and insurers billions of dollars every year.

For copies of these publications or further information, contact the Florida Chapter of CCHR at (727) 442-8820.
