CALZONE PIZZA INTELLIGENCE DIRTY TRICKS
Clearwater police records obtained under the Sunshine Law reveal a wide range of “black bag” operations conducted against the Church of Scientology under the Calzone Pizza operation, also known by aliases such as “Western Products,” “Pearce Imports” and “Calzone Inc.”
Result: The chief investigating officer was so fanatical in his operations, he was warned to back off or have a U.S. Attorney “throw [his] ass in jail for obstructing justice.”
Cost to taxpayers: Unknown, but millions have been spent over a 17-year period.
