Effective Solutions
Recognizing that exposure of wrongdoing in any system or effort is only half the formula for constructive change, Freedom has also served as a forum and advocate for effective solutions.
These solutions have included means of restitution for those who have suffered from abuse, focused whistleblower activity, appropriate watchdog efforts, and the strengthening and increased use of the Freedom of Information Act. [See also “The Right to Know,” and “Constructive Tax Reform”]
Solutions have also frequently been presented by government and civic leaders who have shared their unique ideas and views on how to tackle various aspects of needed reform. Among them are innovations like the drug courts—a concept that has proven to reduce crime while saving money and lives. [See “Equal Rights and Social Justice”.]
Freedom will continue to abide by a mandate that supports ways to help make a government truly of the people, by the people, and for the people.
