Behind the Scenes on the Remini Set

Sources reveal that Remini was so abusive and stressful to work with on the set, the production crew for Season One quit.

The real drama in Leah Remini’s sleazy, hate-filled Aftermath TV show turns out to take place behind the cameras.

Freedom began investigating after noticing that industry websites were filling up with former crew members seeking employment. When the first season’s showrunner fell ill, the production company brought in not only a new showrunner, but an entirely new crew. As many as 100 former production personnel were fired or quit and were seeking other work.

When Freedom’s reporters began to ask around, people were very reluctant to talk, claiming they were locked down by nondisclosure agreements. What does Leah have to hide? But people being people and Leah being Leah, some of the truth has begun to leak out.

From what Freedom is hearing, Leah Remini and Mike Rinder appear to have created an intolerable work environment, which would explain why some former crew members even omit their work on this show from their IMDB résumés.

Sources close to the production tell of Remini regularly trashing the show’s staff and crew behind their backs, her crass behavior on the set, and how the staff has utter disdain for co-producer Mike Rinder, referring to him as “Leah’s Little Nazi.”

Working for Leah Remini was apparently so stressful that one young woman who worked for the production company was unable to get pregnant despite being otherwise healthy. She quit the show on her doctor’s advice so that she could have a normal pregnancy.

Sources even tell of Remini openly propositioning a crew member on set. She evidently claimed that her husband is now more interested in others than in her and that she needed release elsewhere. This is said to have created sexual tension which made normal working relationships all but impossible. The claim was echoed in an internet forum called “Topix” where someone posting as “Meduxa” claimed in November 2017 that he or she was told by a crew member that a source of turmoil was “the leading actress who wanted to sleep with [a crew member] even though she is married and has a teenage daughter.”

Another source told of a crew member boasting of a party tossed by Remini that he attended where Leah was flirting and dancing with the crew, which made some of them very uncomfortable.

We know that this is Remini’s pattern, since she repeatedly sexually harassed a member of her former entourage by constantly grabbing his “package” to his embarrassment and resulting feeling of emasculation.

What we noted is what leaked through the wall of nondisclosure agreements used to shelter Remini and Rinder from exposure and to stifle the truth. One can only imagine the full extent of it. It is not surprising that the production company for Remini’s tabloid show hired the National Enquirer’s attorney to represent it.

Leah Remini’s reputation as an impossible diva who has been shown the door more than once in her career lends credence to the tidbits that have leaked out.

Unlike what Remini puts on the air, you can’t make this up.
