WHY HAVE OUR PRISONS ENTERED A DEADLY SPIRAL?

Freedom Magazine
“I read with interest your article about prisons and their reliance on psychotropic drugs. In fact, it was sent to me by a prisoner in Huntsville, Texas. He confirms all your points as being very accurate and true.”

THE CONTINUING SEARCH FOR ANSWERS BEHIND THE TERROR

Human Rights Violations by Psychiatrists

I would like to comment on “The Continuing Search for Answers Behind the Terror: A Probe Into the Masterminds of Death and Violence.”

I agree that it is important to study and document the role of psychiatrists in terrorism, and I think the facts should be presented to the American Psychiatric Association and the World Psychiatric Association in the form of a white paper or brief. Copies should be sent to Congress, Amnesty International, the Red Cross, the United Nations and other organizations.

I am certain that advanced psychiatric mind control techniques are being used by terrorist organizations around the world, including drugs, electroshock, sensory deprivation and isolation, hypnosis, thought reform and deliberate creation of amnesia, new identities and false memories.

All of these techniques were employed from the late 1940s to the early 1970s on U.S. soil by American psychiatrists working for the CIA and U.S. military under mind control programs like BLUEBIRD, ARTICHOKE, MKULTRA, MKDELTA and Project Often.

The techniques were developed and tested on mental patients, cancer patients, prisoners, unwitting citizens, and other subjects who never gave informed consent, who did not know the funding source or purpose of the experiments, and who had no independent counsel, representation or advocates. This mind control experimentation was interwoven with radiation, chemical and biological weapons projects.

Currently, a wide range of non-lethal weapons are in development, and are probably being tested on unwitting citizens under the supervision of psychiatrists. These weapons involve electromagnetic, sound and other forms of energy beams that alter behavior and mental state without killing the target.

Mind control experiments by psychiatrists from 1950 to 1972 were declassified in the mid-1970s. There has been no further significant declassification of documents since then. Rather than waiting 20 years to find out about the unethical, harmful experimentation and weapons development going on today, we should press for a full review of this problem.

We learned on 9/11 that a commercial airliner can be turned into a lethal weapon. So can the human mind.

PILOTS ON SPEED

Freedom Magazine
Awake — At What Cost?

The news of “friendly fire” in which an American pilot on military-approved (and required) amphetamines killed four Canadians in Afghanistan reminded me of a Freedom cover report from years ago. Your article exposed the dangers inherent in the Air Force policy of prescribing speed for fighter pilots so they “stay awake.”

Doesn’t it appear that drugs impaired the judgment of the pilot who bombed the Canadians? Sure, he was awake — but at what cost?

Now I hear that the pilot and his flight leader, who were doing their duty under circumstances clouded by drugs, may be court-martialed. Perhaps it should be the policy of drugging our brave men and women that should be court-martialed.
